How to purchase images on this site

All images on this website are copyrighted by Bob Firth.
Any copying, usage and/or distribution is strictly prohibited. Use or reproductions that are unauthorized will result in a fee three times the fair-market value for authorized use and could result in a copyright infringement lawsuit.

Registration

> We invite you to register to our site. The primary benefit of registering is to have access to the advanced lightbox features which are outlined in the next section. You do not have to register (with the exception to when ordering a print package) to place an order, as we provide you the option to order as a guest.

Lightbox

> The Lightbox is YOUR collection of images that you select from our image galleries. The Lightbox lets you save images or products for later viewing. Simply click on the add to lightbox button by the image or product thumbnail or on the image detail page and it will be added to your lightbox. You may add up to 100 images to your lightbox. You can also create new and additional lightboxes via the LIghtbox Manager as well as label them once you are registered. This can be a great time saver when you are looking through thousands of images. Additionally, you are able to email your lightbox link to others who may have an interest in the images you selected. Individual images can be emailed directly from the item detail page. If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to purchase and click on the "add to cart" button.
 

Print Products 

> Following are the types of print products that you can choose from.

• Gallery Prints
  These are exhibition quality, archival fine art prints. Available on Glossy or Lustre (semi-gloss) print surface. Prints may also be ordered with “vivid” Metallic paper. Mounting of Gallery Prints is available on archival 3mm Styrene in black or white. Other mounting substrates are available upon request.

• Metal Prints
  Images are printed using an ultra-sharp dye sublimation process that produces stunningly vibrant and long lasting colors. The photo is printed directly onto ultra-smooth, premium grade aluminum with 1/8 inch rounded corners. The final product has a high-gloss finish that gives the image an amazing luminescence, dimension, and clarity.

  These durable metal prints are scratch resistant and may be safely cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth with water or a mild non-abrasive cleaner. Microfiber cloths also work well.

  Metal prints are sold with or without mounting brackets. If you require mounting brackets, they are listed in the products menu, and sold separately. If ordered, the mounting bracket(s) will be attached to the backside of the metal print for no-hassle easy hanging.

• Premium Canvas Art Wrap
  Printed on fine art archival canvas, wrapped around a wood frame and ready to be hung as is. Can be ordered with "vivid" Metallic inks (special order).

> Select the image you would like to purchase, then choose the size and print type, then click the "add to cart" button to complete the purchase. Once the order is completed the image will display in the shopping cart section, which will allow you to check out or continue shopping.
 

• Print Packages
  We have created some print packages (multiple prints in specific sizes at a set price) which may be purchased at a discount. If you would like to order a package, you will need to register on our site first, and complete the order before you can choose and checkout the specific images/prints that you selected.

  Print packages can be found by clicking on the Products / Services tab at the top of the page.

Image File Download / Rights Managed Terms

> Some images are available as digital files which you can download. All digital files, whether for web use or print use are "Rights Managed". We license our Rights Managed images to editorial, advertising, corporate, and non-profit entities for all uses, including books, magazines, calendars, brochures, flyers, greeting cards, post cards, internet, and other applications. We charge a one-time usage fee which depends on the actual and specific usage of the image. Licensing can be tailored to your needs. You will be granted a license for a one time, non-exclusive use, but exclusive rights can be negotiated if required. Additional uses require a separate agreement. Receiving a license does not transfer ownership of the image, or any intellectual property rights therein to you. Our general terms are as follows:
 

• Web Usage
  These files can be used on one domain only (i.e. www.yourdomainname.com) They can be used on as many web pages within that domain as you desire.

  Image files can be altered if necessary, but they can not be included in any composite that is resold.

  The image files CANNOT be resold.
   

• Print Usage
  These files are a higher quality for use in printed publications/applications. They have a resolution of 300dpi and are saved as high quality JPG files. Should you require higher resolution or different file types, please contact us directly by phone or email with your specifications.

  You are granted a licence for a ONE TIME USE - This means that you can use the image for one type of publication or application. EXAMPLE - If you use the image in a brochure, you do not have the right to then create a new product such as a magazine ad which uses the same image.

  Prices on downloaded files are for that resolution image. Higher resolution files are offered on a different pricing structure based on type of usage. ie; a small brochure ad for a nonprofit organization will carry a lower price than a usage involving, for example, a nationally published magazine.
   

> To Order a Stock Image: If you would like to purchase a license of an image or images from our web site, please contact us with the image(s) you are interested in along with full details of how you plan to use the image(s). For a single image just click on the "Request a Quote" icon on the item detail page and then fill out the form and include the usage details. For multiple images, create a lightbox and email us this lightbox using the "Request a Quote" option. You will need to register to send us the lightbox. Please include as much information that you can about how the image will be used including the following:

• Industry
  What industry and will the image be used for Commercial, Editorial, or Non-Profit use?

• Specific Use
  Include where the image will be used such as in a book, magazine, brochure, web site, etc.

• Placement
  Will the image be used on a cover, back cover, inside page, web site, etc.?

• Image Size
  Example: 1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page, etc.

• Distribution Area
  Will the image be distributed Locally, Regionally, Nationally, or Internationally?

• Duration
  Include the amount of time you plan to use the image. 1-month, 3-months, 6-months, 1-year

• Circulation Size
  How many copies will you produce?

We will provide a competitive quote once we have received all relevant usage details.

Shopping Cart

> The shopping cart displays your order details, if you decide to delete an image or product from your order before proceeding to checkout, simply click the remove link (red "X") to the right of the image or product you want to remove from your shopping cart.
 

Payment Method 

> You will need to tell our shopping cart which payment method you would like to use to pay for your purchases. By default the payment method is PPP (pay per purchase). Using this payment method you will need to pay during the checkout process. If other payment methods are available (e.g. Subscription or Package) you can select another payment method in the Payment Method drop down menu. You need to purchase the "Subscription or Package" options before you are able use them. They can be purchased through the Products page by clicking the "Photo Services" link. Once you have chosen the package/subscription you want and completed the order, the package/subscription will display in the Payment Method section during the checkout process, which will allow you to select it as a payment method for your purchases.
 

Checking Out

> If you are new to the site please complete the registration form to create a username and password. This information is stored, so that you can return to the site to make future purchases and so that we can review your orders.

> We utilize PayPal for purchases made on this site.

> If you do not want to use our online ordering system, you can always mail a check or money order as well, but this adds considerable time to the processing of your order. If you decide to send a check or money order, please contact us to let us know and we will email you an order form to include with your payment.
 

My Account

> This page shows your order history and also allows you to download any instant download orders.
 

Product Return Policy

> It is important to us that you be completely satisfied with your order. We will accept returns for refunds, re-prints, or exchanges up to 30 days after the sale. You must contact us prior to making a return for specific return instructions and to receive a return authorization number, as we do not accept returns without the return authorization number. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a print order, we will refund your order upon its return to us in the condition that it was received. We will refund the purchase price minus any shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee, unless we shipped your order in error, in which case, we will provide a full refund. Return shipping charges are your responsibility. Returns must be approved first and return shipping must have insurance and tracking. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item. Customers returning an item for re-prints or exchanges must contact us for further instructions.

> If your order is delivered damaged, it is your responsibility to contact the shipper. IMPORTANT: Save all packing materials. Failure to do so can cause the shipper to deny your claim.
